Terms of Service

Welcome to Adventure Roulette. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Adventure Roulette mobile application, website at https://adventureroulette.co, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Adventure Roulette (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

1. Eligibility
To use Adventure Roulette, you must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
Adventure Roulette is intended for personal, non-commercial use by individual consumers. Businesses wishing to use the Service must apply as a partner at business.adventureroulette.co/apply and are subject to our separate Business Partner Agreement.
2. Accounts
Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@adventureroulette.co if you suspect unauthorized access.
One Account Per Person
You may only maintain one personal account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or abuse the platform is prohibited.
Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.
3. The Service
What Adventure Roulette Does
Adventure Roulette is a local experience discovery platform. It helps users find nearby restaurants, bars, activities, and experiences based on selected adventure modes, budget preferences, group size, and other filters. The Service surfaces suggestions from our database of partner businesses.
No Guarantee of Availability or Quality
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that businesses listed on the platform are operational and accurately represented. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current status of any listing. Businesses may close, change hours, update menus, or alter their offerings without notice to us. Your experience at any venue is entirely at your own discretion and risk.
Group Adventures
The Group Adventures feature allows multiple users to join a shared session. The session host controls who may join and may transfer or end the session. Adventure Roulette is not responsible for the conduct of other users within a group session or for any real-world outcomes of group outings.
Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control. We are not liable for any inconvenience or loss resulting from downtime.
4. User Conduct
By using Adventure Roulette, you agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Submit false, misleading, or fabricated reviews or ratings
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, business partners, or Adventure Roulette staff
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its underlying infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service without written permission
- Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or any other harmful content
- Impersonate another person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Attempt to manipulate rankings, recommendations, or the matching algorithm
- Circumvent any access controls or security measures
- Use the Service in any manner that could damage, overburden, or impair our systems
Violation of these conduct standards may result in immediate account suspension or termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
5. User-Generated Content
Your Content
The Service may allow you to submit reviews, ratings, profile information, and other content (“User Content”). You retain ownership of User Content you submit.
License to Us
By submitting User Content, you grant Adventure Roulette a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt your User Content in connection with operating and improving the Service, including sharing aggregated or anonymized data with partner businesses.
Content Standards
User Content must:
- Reflect genuine first-hand experiences (reviews must be authentic)
- Not contain defamatory, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory language
- Not infringe on any third party’s intellectual property rights
- Not include personal information about other individuals without their consent
Removal
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine in our sole discretion is harmful, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.
6. Intellectual Property
Our Property
The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and content created by Adventure Roulette (excluding User Content), is the exclusive property of Adventure Roulette and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
Feedback
If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Service, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services, including maps applications, rideshare platforms, social media, and partner business websites. These integrations are provided for your convenience. Adventure Roulette does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
8. Location Services
The Service uses your device’s location to surface nearby businesses and experiences. Location access is optional — you may deny or revoke it at any time through your device settings. By enabling location services, you consent to Adventure Roulette collecting and using your location data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Push Notifications
With your permission, Adventure Roulette may send push notifications to your device relating to Group Adventures, session invitations, and service updates. You may disable notifications at any time through your device settings. We will not send marketing or promotional push notifications without your explicit opt-in consent.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADVENTURE ROULETTE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Any business listed on the platform will meet your expectations
- Results or recommendations will be accurate or complete for your specific needs
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected
Your use of the Service and any businesses you visit based on our recommendations is entirely at your own risk. Adventure Roulette is a discovery tool — we are not a party to any transaction or experience you have at a listed venue.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ADVENTURE ROULETTE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any experience you have at a partner venue discovered through the Service
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Conduct of other users within Group Adventures or otherwise
- Any third-party content or services accessed through the Service
IN NO EVENT SHALL ADVENTURE ROULETTE’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ADVENTURE ROULETTE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Adventure Roulette and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your User Content; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Colorado for any disputes not subject to arbitration.
Informal Resolution
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at legal@adventureroulette.co and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will try to resolve any concern within 30 days.
Arbitration
For any dispute that cannot be resolved informally, you and Adventure Roulette agree to resolve the dispute through binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), rather than in court. The arbitration shall take place in Colorado. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Exceptions: either party may bring claims in small claims court. Either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in court to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the law, or our Service. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you via in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
15. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections 5 (User Content license), 6 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of Liability), 12 (Indemnification), and 13 (Governing Law) survive termination.
16. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Adventure Roulette regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Force Majeure
Adventure Roulette will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, internet or telecommunications outages, or other events of force majeure.
